Christmas Vacation

Before Christmas, we took the kids to see Santas' reindeer, Comet and Cupid. They were pretty cute, except the part where they told you that the reindeer like to eat fingers...lol.

We had a really good Christmas with friends and family. We actually had four Christmas celebrations. Each one of them were tons of fun. The kids each got what they had asked Santa for ( well the first time request!) The boys were super excited when they had seen that Santa had brought them Nintendo DS'! We didn't know that Hayden had written Santa (at school) and had asked for a Nintendo DS until a week before Christmas and the shopping had already been done!! So, 'Santa's helpers went back out and went shopping again!! Christmas Day was lots of fun playing games and eating an awesome dinner with family (thanks for the great dinner Mimi).

We've been having a lot of fun around here lately. Yesterday, there wasn't enough snow on the BIG sledding hill, so we played out in the snow most of the day at home. We started up a fire outside to keep warm throughout the day. We were so excited to see that the snow was coming down pretty good today. We were only able to get one of the snowmobiles running, but had lots of fun taking the kids around the yard on it. The kids decided that if they couldn't go sledding on the BIG hill, that they would go sledding somehow. So they took their sleds up on the swingset and went for rides on their sleds down the slide. They were actually picking up quite a bit of speed! They had some pretty good face plants too!!
